George Weinstein

George Weinstein is the author of eight novels. He is the Executive Director of the Atlanta Writers Club and Director of the Atlanta Writers Conference, and he has spent 24 years in the book business. During that time, he has been represented by and fired two literary agents, survived the collapse of two publishers, republished his books himself, overseen 30 writers conferences with nearly 500 agents and publishers and over 6,500 writers, and led a 110-year-old writing organization that has gone from 48 members to almost 1,400. He’s also read about the predicted death of the book business umpteen times but notes that more books are being published than ever before.
