The Master of Arts in Pedagogy-Only is intended for those who have demonstrated content expertise in one of the teaching areas for middle grades (4-8), secondary (6-12), and all P-12 fields (except Elementary Education, Special Education, and Reading).

Graduates of this program will receive a recommendation for an initial teaching certificate with a master’s degree level (T5) compensation in Georgia. Students can then transfer to other states via reciprocity. It is the student’s responsibility to verify requirements with their state.

Admissions Requirements

A baccalaureate degree from an accredited institution with an undergraduate cumulative grade point average of at least a 2.75 (on a 4.0 scale).
All college transcripts must be submitted to the university.
Two letters of recommendation
Resume
Documentation of completed Georgia Educator Ethics Assessment Completion Certificate
Clear Background Check (completion after all documentation is submitted and university will perform the check with candidate permission)
