Hone theatrical skills and beat the heat this summer with the Musical Theatre Intensive in the new University Theater, hosted by Reinhardt University’s School of the Performing Arts July 15-18.
This is a great opportunity for rising high school freshman through graduating seniors to display their talent and learn from Reinhardt’s experienced theatre and voice faculty. The production performed will be “Songs for a New World” by James Robert Brown. This camp provides the opportunity for vocal coaching, acting and movement, masterclasses, and concludes with a cabaret performance in the state-of-the-art Black Box Performance Space in the University Theater.
“The Reinhardt University Musical Theatre Intensive was one of the best experiences I have ever had. Brian Osborne, Dave Nisbet and the rest of the faculty truly believe in the participants and encourage them to make their artistry grow in beautiful ways,” said freshman Musical Theatre major Mackensie Eckenfels. “I left the theatre camp as a stronger singer and more confident performer.”
Register early for the Musical Theatre Intensive to be held July 15-18. Cabaret performances will be held July 27 at 7:30 p.m. and July 28 at 3 p.m. in the University Theater. The cost for the day camp is $950, which includes evening meals. Deadline for applications and payment is July 1. For more information, visit Reinhardt.edu/sopa.
